The export of bulls from Kazakhstan has been temporarily banned, according to a statement by the Ministry of Agriculture, reports “Adyrna.”
On April 25, 2025, the Interdepartmental Commission on Foreign Trade Activities and Participation in International Economic Organizations decided to impose a temporary three-month ban on the export of bulls (cattle) from the country.
“The section of Joint Order №158 of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Kazakhstan and №227 of the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Kazakhstan, both dated May 14, 2025, concerning the ban on bull exports, came into effect on May 15, 2025,” the statement said.
This measure has been taken to ensure food security in the country and to support the operation of processing enterprises.
