Former U.S. President Joe Biden has been diagnosed with an aggressive form of cancer that spreads rapidly through the body, according to Adyrna national portal, citing Reuters.
Biden’s office reported that the diagnosis was made on Friday after he began experiencing difficulties in the urinary system. Biden and his family are currently working with doctors to explore treatment options.
“Although this type of cancer spreads quickly, it is hormone-sensitive, which makes it possible to treat effectively,” the statement said.
According to Biden’s office, the cancer’s aggressiveness was rated 9 out of 10 on the Gleason scale, which is used to determine how dangerous prostate cancer is.
Despite frequently criticizing Biden, former U.S. President Donald Trump expressed his support for Biden and his wife Jill in a post on the Truth Social platform.
“Melania and I are deeply saddened by Joe Biden’s recent medical diagnosis. We send our warmest wishes to Jill and the entire family, and we wish Joe a speedy recovery,” Trump said.
