Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky flew to the United States. He announced this on his Telegram channel, reports Adyrna.
“I have arrived in Washington. On August 18, there will be a meeting with President Trump. We will also hold talks with European leaders. I am grateful to the U.S. president for the invitation,” Zelensky said.
He emphasized that Ukraine is committed to lasting peace.
In turn, the U.S. president wrote on Truth Social that the Ukrainian leader would have the opportunity to end the conflict immediately if he agreed to renounce Crimea and refrain from joining NATO.
