Kazakhstani hockey players won all their matches at the Asian Championship held in Beijing. In the final round, our team defeated Japan with a score of 4:3, Adyrna reports.

The first period ended 1:1, with the opening goal scored by Kirill Lyapunov.

In the second period, our players took the lead, but the Japanese team equalized again. However, just 18 seconds later, our hockey players responded and made good use of their opportunity. This period ended 4:2, with Roman Starchenko scoring a double. At the end of the match, the opponent reduced the score gap, but our guys stopped Japan’s attacks and held on to the victory. Thus, the Kazakhstan national team became the Asian champion for the second time in a row.

It is worth noting that the Kazakhstani players had also won the previous two matches. First, they beat South Korea 4:2, and then crushed China 5:1.
