According to the Almaty City Police Department, on Monday, September 20, the city is conducting an operational and preventive operation "Debtor" to identify those who do not pay fines. The head of the local police department Kanat Timemerdenov shared the information on his personal page on social networks.
The experience of such raids is not new, but the chief police officer of Almaty attached an interesting photo to the post. It shows the Hyper System System camera mounted on the roof of the Hyundai Elantra service company. The Almaty Police Department did not have such equipment before.
According to the press service of Kurkem Telecom, the mobile version of Sergek is called Sergek Patrol and is a Kazakh analogue of such complexes as Ekin Patrol G2, Cyber Sheriff and Dozor-M.
So far, the city police has a pilot crew. The capabilities of the system allow using artificial intelligence to search for license plates of vehicles and keep them through a database, check debt, insurance, routing, as well as detect fake numbers. The complex does not know how to impose fines in automatic mode, but the police officer in the car has such an opportunity.
The company noted that it is currently developing the possibility of correcting traffic on the bus lane, as well as parking in prohibited areas.
