About 80 new schools will be opened in the country by the beginning of the academic year. It is planned to commission more than 230 schools by the end of the year. This was announced by the press service of the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the national portal "Adyrna" reported.
"On the order of the head of state, 1,000 schools will be built in the country by the end of 2025. Last year, 277 schools were commissioned. It is planned to open 230 more schools this year. 80 schools will be opened by September 1. Now, in cooperation with local executive bodies, we are working to complete the construction of the remaining schools on time.
Let us remind you that the financing of schools and their construction are legally under the authority of akimats. State purchases, preparation of design and estimate documents, allocation of land plots, engineering infrastructure, construction and commissioning - all these processes assigned to local ex.com. need to be reviewed and optimized, and now a special working group is engaged in it. The experience of real construction, ex.com.'s permission to build a house without building a school is a separate issue. As a result, current schools become three shifts at once. We demand the complete elimination of such a possibility by law," said Vice-Minister of Education Gani Beysembayev.
