Employees of the "Zara" store in Almaty refused to provide service in Kazakh. Internet user Kuralay Bauyrzhankizi wrote about it, "Adyrna" correspondent reported .

"My pride was" earth", my courage was" sand". In the children's section of the Zara store, we asked for an answer in Kazakh, and we were blamed for speaking in our own language in our own country. We said to the Korean boy(we thought he was kazakh) to speak Kazakh, and the conversation started from there. "Russian language is easy for me," says the guy. "Now we're comfortable with Kazakh, you understand it, can't you tell me how much it is?", they say, " We asked to call someone who knew the language,he wrote.

Administrator girl "We are an international company. "Our employees know whatever language they speak."

"If we can't speak Kazakh even in the store, where can we go and speak it?" When will we talk? Only the fireplace, near the hearth? After all, when will the Kazakh language get rid of the mockery of "poor people's language" and "domestic slipper"?!
The worst thing is that we realized that there is no one to protect our rights and speak our words, and we left feeling like orphans..." - wrote Kuralay Bauyrzhankizi.
