This year's event was themed Global Security: Lessons from the Past, and more than 500 participants from 15 countries assumed the role of UN diplomats and discussed ways to solve the world's most pressing security problems.
The Kazakhstan team included six students of the Nazarbayev Intellectual School in Taldykorgan.
As a result of the conference, students of the 11th grade Maxim Surin and Danial Shokobalinov were awarded with letters of commendation on behalf of MUN Secretary General and senior specialist in international history Benjamin Kurian, as well as GU-Q educational development manager Jibin Koshi.
