Tokayev appointed a new deputy head of the fight against corruption

Darkhan Kurakbayev, who was previously the head of the Pavlodar regional anti-corruption department, was appointed to the post of deputy chairman of the Republic of Kazakhstan's anti-corruption agency, the national portal "Adyrna" reported.
The relevant decree was signed by the head of state Kassym-Zhomart Tokaev on May 2.

"By the order of the head of state, Darkhan Galymtaiuly Kurakbaev was appointed to the position of deputy chairman of the Anti-Corruption Agency (Anti-Corruption Service) of the Republic of Kazakhstan," - reads the message published by the official website of Akorda.

Darkhan Galymtayuly was born in 1983, has a higher education.

In 2004, he graduated from the financial police academy with a specialty of "law". He has been working in anti-corruption agencies for more than 18 years.
