The head of Tajikistan was awarded the "Golden Kiran" order, the "Adyrna" national portal reported.
"The head of state Kassym-Zhomart Tokayev awarded the President of the Republic of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon with the highest state award of the country - the Order of the Golden Eagle - for his special contribution to the strengthening of friendship and cooperation between the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Republic of Tajikistan," according to Akorda.
It should be noted that yesterday Kassym-Zhomart Tokayev welcomed the President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon, who came to Kazakhstan on a state visit, at the airport of the capital.
