At the investment round table held in Xi'an, the president noted that Kazakhstan was one of the 10 largest wheat-producing countries in the world. Kazakhstan exports about 5.5 million tons of grain and about 1.5 tons of flour per year. In the future, it is intended to supply 1 million tons of wheat to China.
In addition, during the last five years, the volume of oilseeds exported from Kazakhstan to China has increased by 3.5 times, and vegetable oil by 2 times.
