On August 24, 2023, the Head of State Kassym-Zhomart Tokayev will participate in the video conference in the format "BRICS plus" which will be held within the framework of the 15th BRICS summit. Russian President Vladimir Putin is also going to participate in the dialogue between the heads of state in Johannesburg.
The President of Kazakhstan will speak as the current chairman of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization at the invitation of South African President Cyril Ramaphosa.
