Kazakhstan's women's chess team reached the finals of the team world championship in Poland, reported the national portal "Adyrna".
The national team of Kazakhstan played against the national team of France in the semi-finals and won.
The national team includes Bibisara Asaubaeva, Ksenia Balabayeva, Asel Serikbay, Meruert Kamalidenova, Alua Nurmanova and Amina Kairbekova. Now, in the finals, Kazakhstan's chess players will meet Georgia, which defeated the USA team in the semi-finals. The match will start on September 11 at 18:00.
It should be noted that 12 teams are participating in the World Championship. The tournament has been organized since 2007. Before that, the national team of Kazakhstan has never reached the semi-finals.
