Kazakh National University named after Al-Farabi, a teacher of the Faculty of Journalism, Kastai Dastan Kuandykuly, expressed his displeasure with the dismissal of the university management without any reason. He wrote about this on his Facebook page, the national portal "Adyrna" reported.
According to Dastan Kastai, the reason for this incident is the opening of the Kemel Tokayev auditorium. After the information of the independent media "Regarding the Tokayev auditorium", the teachers of the Faculty of Journalism were under severe pressure. And the university side refused to give an explanation about taking such a step.
After the incident, Dastan Kastai sent an open letter to the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Kassym-Zhomart Tokayev, the Minister of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan Sayasat Nurbek, the Minister of Culture and Information of the Republic of Kazakhstan Aida Balayeva.
