125 years ago, Idyrys Mustanbayev, a figure of the Alash movement, a literary critic, and a historian, was born, "Adyrna" wrote.

Mustanbayev was repeatedly expelled from the party on the charge of being a "sadukasovist" due to his disagreement with the party and government policy on the land issue, class struggle in the village, confiscation of the rich, and the national policy of the head of the regional government F.I. Goloshchekin.
In 1937, by the decision of the UNKVD triumvirate of Almaty region. On November 16, he was sentenced to death for "participation in an anti-Soviet national terrorist and espionage organization."
