Mikhail Shaidorov, the leader of Kazakhstan’s men’s figure skating team, triumphed in the competition, reports the “Adyrna” national portal.
According to Olympic.kz, the athlete won gold at the Denis Ten Memorial, held in Astana.
Not only did the figure skater take first place, but he also set a personal record, scoring 95.50 points in the short program.
During the free skate, Shaidorov received 166.83 points from the judges, bringing his total score to 262.33 points.
Azerbaijan’s Litvinsev secured second place with 246.00 points, while Georgia’s Nika Egadze took bronze.
