Kazakhstani renowned boxer, President of World Boxing and Chairman of the National Olympic Committee of Kazakhstan, Gennady Golovkin met with global football star Cristiano Ronaldo during his visit to Saudi Arabia, Adyrna reports.
The meeting took place in Riyadh. Golovkin was in the city to attend a major boxing event, where the main bout saw Japanese boxer Naoya Inoue defeat Mexico’s David Picasso.
A video shared online shows a warm meeting between the two sports stars. During their conversation, Gennady Golovkin mentioned that he may hold another fight next year, sparking great interest among fans.
Cristiano Ronaldo also expressed his pleasure at meeting the Kazakhstani boxer and shared kind words.
It is worth recalling that Gennady Golovkin and Cristiano Ronaldo had previously collaborated in 2020 on a project for the DAZN platform.
