Kassym-Jomart Tokayev congratulated the people of Kazakhstan on the occasion of Eid al-Adha, reports Adyrna correspondent.
The Head of State noted that this holiday holds a special place in the spiritual life of the nation, emphasizing that during Eid al-Adha, noble values such as kindness, charity, mutual respect, and compassion are widely promoted.
“During the days of Eid al-Adha, our citizens gain a deeper understanding of the importance of helping others, showing respect to elders, kindness to the younger generation, and feeling a shared responsibility for the future of the country. This is a special period that contributes to a better understanding of the wisdom and teachings of Islam, which are based on justice, morality, and purity of thought and spirit.
Ultimately, both our noble religion and the other traditional religions practiced in our country serve as a foundation for the spiritual development of our people, the continuity between generations, and the strengthening of unity and harmony in society,” he said.
Kassym-Jomart Tokayev also highlighted the role of traditional religions in reinforcing unity and solidarity in society.
“There is nothing more valuable to all of us than the sovereignty and independence of our country. The Constitution is a reflection of our nation’s identity and the core of our national unity. Therefore, strengthening the unity of the country and reinforcing interethnic and interfaith harmony are among the most important priorities of state policy and our constitutional duty.
Preserving peace and stability within the country is the sacred responsibility of every patriotic citizen. Especially in today’s turbulent times, this is the key condition for further developing our state and building a Just and Progressive Kazakhstan. I am confident that благодаря the solidarity and creative spirit of our people, we will continue to achieve great heights in the future. I wish all of you good health, happiness, and prosperity! May Eid al-Adha be accepted!” the President concluded.
