Nurbol Nursagatov has been appointed as a deputy governor of Abay region, the national portal "Adyrna" reports.
"In agreement with the Presidential Administration, Nurbol Nursagatov was appointed as a deputy governor by the order of Abay region mayor, Nurlan Urankhayev," said the press service of the regional mayor.
Nursagatov previously headed the administrations of Baikonur and Almaty districts in Nur-Sultan.
