European politicians have nominated Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky for the Nobel Peace Prize, the national portal Adyrna reports.
Thirty-six European politicians have asked members of the Nobel Committee to extend the deadline for nominating Zelensky for the Peace Prize.
"We believe that the time has come for the Ukrainian people to show that the world is on their side. We ask you to extend the deadline for nominating this state and the President of the country for the Nobel Peace Prize until March 31, 2022, "the statement notes.
