After becoming the owner of Twitter, Elon Musk decided to revise the personnel policy. He plans to lay off about half of his employees. This was announced by Bloomberg, the national portal "Adyrna" reported.
According to the interlocutors of the agency, about 3.7 thousand of 7.5 thousand workers will be laid off. At the same time, employees remaining in the state are prohibited from working remotely. These measures are aimed at reducing costs.
Musk previously posted on his account, "Should advertisers support free speech or political correctness?" published a survey. The majority of those who voted chose the first option.
It should be noted that Elon Musk completed the agreement to purchase Twitter on October 27. The amount of the contract was 44 billion dollars. The entrepreneur himself explained the purchase decision with the intention of helping humanity.
