The National Security Committee, together with the prosecutor's office and the police, stopped a group of people in Mangistau region on suspicion of extortion, serious harm to health, and possession of illegal weapons, the "Adyrna" portal reports.
During the operation on September 18, the leader of the criminal group and three participants were arrested, firearms and ammunition were confiscated.
