The draft law on "Mass-media" was approved in the first reading in the Mazhilis, "Adyrna" reporter reported. The document was presented by the Minister of Culture and Information Aida Balayeva. "The Ministry developed the draft law taking into account the state interest, public demand and development trends of the media industry. During its preparation, the international experience of European countries, the strategic documents of the United Nations and the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe were comprehensively studied," he said.
