The Taliban refused to participate in the UN conference on Afghanistan, which is being held in Doha on February 18-19, reports the national portal "Adyrna" with reference to the independent Afghan online newspaper Hasht e Subh Daily. The Taliban set two conditions for participation in the Qatar meeting: their delegation should be the only Afghan representative at the forum; UN Secretary General António Guterres should enter into direct negotiations with the movement. Since there was no agreement from the organizers, the Taliban decided to boycott the conference.
