A foreigner who tried to organize a terrorist attack was arrested in the south of the country. The National Security Committee wrote about it, reported "Adyrna" reporter.
According to the department, the man tried to use an improvised explosive device.
"Besides, the radical religious cell was neutralized in the capital. 8 of its members were suspected of involvement in creating a terrorist group, promoting and financing terrorism, and other crimes. According to similar facts, a total of 19 people were arrested, and 4 more citizens of Kazakhstan were sentenced to different terms of imprisonment," said the press service of the committee.
