June 12 wa s the day when the Congress of Kazakh Educators convened for the first time in Orinbor exactly 100 years ago in 1924, organized by the Commissariat of People's Education of Kazakhstan, the national portal "Adyrna" wrote.
After the establishment of the Kazakh ASSR, the first congress of Kazakh (Kyrgyz) educators was convened in Orinbor on June 12, 1924. At this congress, the issues related to teaching by sound method were discussed, the meaning of the officially accepted alphabet, which was modified and adapted to the sound nature of the Kazakh language, which has been used for 12-13 years.
6 urgent issues were discussed in the agenda of the six-day meeting. These are: problems of writing and the alphabet, Kazakh subject words, oral literature collection activities, reading, reproduction of science books, and elementary school programs.
