Kazakhstani boxer Oner Seyilkhan became the world champion at the Youth World Boxing Championship held in Budva, Montenegro, reports “Adyrna.”
Competing in the 71 kg category, Seyilkhan defeated Russian opponent Alexey Gukov with a score of 5:0 in the final match.
Throughout the championship, Seyilkhan faced opponents from Belarus (5:0), Pakistan (5:0), Albania (5:0), and Uzbekistan (4:1). Notably, the Kazakhstan team won a total of 6 gold, 1 silver, and 10 bronze medals at this world championship.
