Ten schools are planned to be built in the Karaganda region under the “Comfortable School” program, as announced by Karaganda region governor Yermaganbet Bolekpayev at a briefing held by the Central Communications Service.
Their construction began last year. This school year, two schools were opened in Karaganda, and by the end of the year, an additional five comfortable schools are expected to open.
In addition, the governor highlighted the active role of the “Kazakhstan Khalkyna” Fund in regional social projects. With the Fund’s support, four projects have been implemented in the education sector to renovate and modernize schools and build sports facilities. In healthcare, equipment for pulmonology, combustiology, and cardiology has been purchased.
