Kazakh wrestler Älimkhan Syzdykov will compete for the gold medal at the Asian Greco-Roman Wrestling Championship, which is taking place in Amman, Jordan, Adyrna reports.
In the 130 kg weight category, Syzdykov defeated Uzbekistan’s Temurbek Nasimov 4:1 in the semifinals.
Meanwhile, in the 63 kg category, Sultan Äsetuly lost to Uzbekistan’s Aytjan Khalmakhanov in the semifinals. Additionally, in the 87 kg category, Shamil Ozhaev also failed to reach the final, losing to Uzbekistan’s Zhalgasbay Berdimuratov.
