The European Union has approved the 17th package of sanctions against Russia, according to European Commission Vice President Kaja Kallas, as reported by Adyrna.
The blacklist includes 75 individuals involved in Russia’s military-industrial complex. Additionally, around 200 Russian ships have been banned from entering EU ports and from engaging in
financial transactions.
According to the Financial Times, sanctions have also been imposed on 149 oil tankers suspected of being linked to Russia’s so-called shadow fleet.
EU representatives have also announced that they are currently preparing the 18th package of sanctions against Russia.
