The Communications Department under the Office of the President of Turkey has launched a campaign called "Hello Türkiye" to effectively announce the use of the country's national and international name as "Türkiye" in the international media, according to the Adyrna national portal.
Altun said: “Of course, it is very important that every segment of our society is sensitive and supportive. It is very important for us that our public institutions, non-governmental organizations, academia, our press use and pronounce the name of our country as "Türkiye" (Turkey) in their work, correspondence, events and organizations they visit. We can further strengthen the Turkish brand around the world by acting as one.”
