The administration of U.S. President Donald Trump may impose entry bans on citizens of an additional 36 countries, Reuters reported on June 15, according to Adyrna.

The new restrictions could affect 25 African countries, including Egypt and Djibouti, as well as some nations in Central Asia and the Caribbean. Citizens of these countries may be denied U.S. visas, and other limitations could also be introduced.

According to foreign media, the countries on the list have failed to cooperate with the U.S. in repatriating their citizens who violated American immigration laws. In some cases, individuals from these countries have also been linked to terrorist activities within the U.S. These countries have now been given 60 days to comply with the requirements.

Previously, Donald Trump signed an executive order banning entry into the U.S. for citizens of 12 countries, including Afghanistan, Myanmar, Chad, the Democratic Republic of the Congo, Equatorial Guinea, Eritrea, Haiti, Iran, Libya, Somalia, Sudan, and Yemen.
