President Kasym-Jomart Tokayev welcomed President of the People’s Republic of China Xi Jinping at the Astana airport, according to the press service of Akorda, reports “Adyrna”.
An honor guard company lined up at the aircraft ramp. Children holding the flags of Kazakhstan and China greeted the distinguished guest with warm regards.
It is worth noting that the plane carrying the Chinese leader was escorted from the country’s border to the capital by aircraft of the Air Defense Forces of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
