Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian was injured during an Israeli strike on Tehran, according to Fars news agency, Adyrna reports.
According to foreign media, the aerial strike occurred on June 16 during a meeting of the country’s Supreme National Security Council.
“The Israeli military launched six missiles targeting the entrance and exit of the complex. During the evacuation, the president and several officials sustained injuries to their legs. Doctors assessed the injuries as minor,” the report stated.
It is worth noting that earlier, Iran had expressed its readiness to resume negotiations with the United States on the nuclear agreement.
