In West Kazakhstan region, the winners of the traditional “Enbek Zholy” (Path of Labor) regional contest, dedicated to the Year of Working Professions, were announced and awarded at a ceremonial event.
This contest, initiated by the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Population of Kazakhstan, is held among labor dynasties and industrial workers to promote the idea of the Universal Labor Society and to enhance the status of working people.
This year, a total of 38 candidates took part in the regional stage of the competition, contributing to the development of the region with their work. Among them:
• 7 candidates competed in the “Best Labor Dynasty” nomination,
• 14 candidates in the “Best Mentor of Working Youth” nomination,
• 17 candidates in the “Best Young Specialist in Production” nomination.
At the ceremony, regional akim Nariman Toregaliev congratulated the participants and emphasized the importance of labor in society.
“With the President’s initiative, 2025 has been declared the Year of Working Professions – a historic step aimed at honoring the working people who contribute to the country’s development with their hard work,” said the governor.
The winners and prizeholders received special diplomas and gifts. Now they will represent West Kazakhstan at the national stage of the ‘Enbek Zholy’ contest, showcasing the region’s working people to the whole country.
