Since January 2025, 605,000 illegal migrants have been forcibly removed from the United States, while 1.9 million people have left the country voluntarily. This was reported by the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, according to Adyrna.
“Illegal migrants are hearing our call to leave the country now. They know that if they do not do so, we will find and detain them. They are also aware that they will never be allowed to return,” the statement said.
In addition, migrants were encouraged to leave the country voluntarily through a special mobile application. The app guarantees a free flight back to their home country as well as financial assistance of $1,000.
