The mayor of Almaty met with representatives of the International Finance Corporation (IFC), "Adyrna" correspondent reported.
The event was attended by the Regional Vice President of the International Finance Corporation for the Middle East, Central Asia, Turkey, Afghanistan and Pakistan Hela Sheikhrou, the head of the International Finance Corporation Regional Office for Central Asia Cassandra Colbert, the head of the International Finance Corporation Regional Office in Kazakhstan Ekaterina Benjamin and others.
According to representatives of the ISC, Almaty is a regional investment hub in Central Asia. The organization contributes to the socio-economic development of the metropolis, where the main directions are the financial sector, agribusiness, infrastructure, climate and environmental investments.
