A state of emergency has been declared in Ekibastuz. The state of emergency will be in effect until the completion of repair and restoration work, Tengrinews.kz correspondent reports.
"In accordance with Article 48 of the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan "On Civil Protection" on the territory of Ekibastuz, the mayor of the city declared a local emergency of a technogenic character due to an accident in heating networks. As of 01.30 - 17 multi-storey residential buildings, five remain without heat supply. The emergency mode will be in effect until the completion of repair and restoration work in the emergency zone," the official page of the Ekibastuz ex.com. on Instagram reports.
It was also clarified here that as of 01.30, 17 high-rise buildings, 5 social facilities and 21 objects of legal entities remain without heating in the city.
Earlier it became known that the Energy Supervision Committee will conduct an inspection on the situation with heat supply in Ekibastuz.
