The Minister of Defense of the Russian Federation visited the DPRK. US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken believes that during his visit he intends to negotiate for the purchase of weapons from North Korea. According to him, Shoigu is "vacationing" in North Korea, but in fact he is "taking care of weapons", reports the national portal "Adyrna". Washington authorities say that Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu did not visit North Korea for nothing. US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken made such a statement during his visit to Australia on July 29. He said he highly doubted Shoigu was "vacationing" in the DPRK.
"We see that Russia needs to buy weapons wherever it can find them in order to continue its aggression against Ukraine," said Blinken.
