The police department of Zhetysu region arrested a 23-year-old resident of the region who sold her two children. This was stated by the representative of the department Shugyla Turlybek at the weekly press conference held at the Ministry of Internal Affairs, "Adyrna" national portal reported.
It was revealed that the suspect sold her two children born in 2022 and 2023 through middlemen. The first event took place in October 2022, and the second event took place in August 2023. In both cases, the amount of the transaction was 1 million tenge. These facts were registered under Article 135 (trafficking of minors) of the Criminal Code, the representative of the department noted.
