Kyrgyzstan aims to get rid of all debt by 2035

It was said that Kyrgyzstan will get rid of all its debts by 2035, reports the national portal "Adyrna" referring to 24kg.

Since independence, the state has spent a total of 350 billion 451.4 million soms on external and internal payments. Now the state has already paid 170 billion 956.78 million soms for the foreign debt of the republic. President Sadyr Japarov called not to panic about the debt.

Also, the Ministry of Finance of Kyrgyzstan considers the public debt to be sustainable.

According to the Ministry, from 2024 to 2030, Kyrgyzstan will have to spend 534 billion 914.2 million soms to repay the public debt. About 60 percent of this amount will be allocated to the payment of foreign debt.
