April 23 is designated as the National Book Day. The draft resolution of the Ministry of Tourism and Sports has been published on the Open NKA portal, the national portal "Adyrna" reported.
The document will be open for public discussion until May 22. If the project is adopted, the National Book Day will be celebrated from 2025.
It should be noted that President Kassym-Zhomart Tokayev supported the initiative to establish the National Book Day proposed by a number of citizens at the National Assembly held in Atyrau this year.
