The salaries of military personnel in Kyrgyzstan will be increased, President Sadyr Japarov announced, according to Adyrna.
He stated that this measure is being taken to ensure that the families of military personnel feel confident and respected in society.
“Starting from July 1, the salaries of law enforcement officers will increase by an average of 35%, and beginning November 1, the same increase will apply to contract-based military personnel,” he said.
The Head of State also noted that compared to 2020, the budget for the Armed Forces has increased by more than 400%. According to him, the army is now equipped with modern weaponry, the infrastructure of military towns and garrisons has been improved, and a proper level of material and technical support has been ensured.
