Akzhunis Atakhan, an 11th-grade student from Tole Bi Secondary School №7 in Kanagat village, part of Kaplanbek rural district in the Saryagash district, has received offers from 36 prestigious universities around the world. This was reported on May 21 by the press service of the Turkistan Region Akimat, according to “Adyrna”.
The ambitious student has chosen to pursue a degree in international relations and dreams of becoming a highly qualified expert in her field by studying at some of the world’s top universities. Her results on the national Unified National Testing (UNT) are also impressive — she scored 111 points.
Akzhunis Asylkhanqyzy, who studies at a rural school, has worked tirelessly with the goal of studying abroad, learning about new cultures, and expanding her academic horizons. As a result, she applied to universities in developed countries such as the UAE, Turkey, Malaysia, Canada, and the USA — and received admission offers from 36 of them. The 16-year-old student won scholarships from 17 universities in the United States, 5 in the UAE, 6 in Turkey, and 5 in Malaysia, and was awarded a presidential scholarship offer from one university in Canada.
“Since her first day at school, Akzhunis Atakhan has consistently been among the top students. Her outstanding academic achievements and determination have inspired many other students in the region. She is the first student from this school to receive invitations from foreign universities. Her goal is to complete her studies at one of the world’s top universities and return to serve her country,” the Turkistan Regional Communications Service wrote.
