October 1 is the International Day of Older Persons. On December 15, 1990, the UN General Assembly declared this day the International Day of Older Persons. In fact, this holiday dates back to the twentieth century. Elderly Day was first celebrated in Europe, then in America, and since the late 80's it has been celebrated all over the world.

The main purpose of the celebration of the Day of the Elderly is to pay attention to low-income elderly people, lonely pensioners and the elderly with disabilities, to provide them with material, social and other assistance. On this day, not only in our country, but all over the world, there will be celebrations for the elderly, various projects to help the elderly by adults, and special state benefits.

According to the classification of the World Health Organization, the elderly are 60-74 years old, the elderly are 75-89 years old, and the long-term creators are over 90 years old.

The old man is like a flowing river, like a sea. It is not for nothing that our people say, "An old country has a treasure." Long live the old people who always wish for the people and take care of them!
