Kazakh students became four-time world champions in robotics

The National Team of Kazakhstan won the FIRST Global Challenge (FGC) 2025 World Olympiad held in Panama City for the fourth consecutive time. The announcement was made by deputy Askhat Aimagambetov, reports “Adyrna”.

Among teams from 190 countries, Kazakh students earned two top awards:
• GRAND CHALLENGE AWARD (Gold) – the tournament’s main prize;
• ALBERT EINSTEIN AWARD (Gold) – for engineering excellence and team leadership.

The team included students from NIS Almaty-Medeu School – Rashat Dosymzhan, Daulet Ilyas, Alikhan Orynbasarov, Madiyar Asetuly, and Nurasyl Tursynbayev.
Their coaches were Nurdaulet Dosmagambet, Asylbek Murzakhmetov, and Dulat Baitulenov.

Previously, the Kazakh team also claimed victory at the Geneva-2022, Singapore-2023, and Greece-2024 competitions.
