At the Asian Youth Boxing Championship taking place in Colombo, Sri Lanka, the Kazakhstan women’s national team claimed 12 victories in the final stage. Gold medals at the continental tournament were won by: Aiyum Tankibayeva (up to 48 kg), Sila Bibolsynkyzy (up to 50 kg), Rakhmina Abdumezhitova (up to 52 kg), Zhanel Imantaeva (up to 54 kg), Aknur Tursyngali (up to 57 kg), Tolgankay Kasymkhan (up to 60 kg), Alina Kudaigenova (up to 63 kg), Akbota Yesimbekova (up to 66 kg), Maria Sidorenko (up to 70 kg), Zarina Tolybai (up to 75 kg), Kuralai Yeginbaikyzy (up to 81 kg), and Sabina Zhaksylyk (over 81 kg),” the statement said.
