The president of Malawi officially announced that the vice-president died in a plane crash, the national portal "Adyrna" reported.
In the morning, there were reports that the plane carrying the Vice President of Malawi, Saulos Chilima, had gone missing.
According to local media, the head of the state of Malawi, Lazarus Chakwera, announced that the search and rescue operation has ended. The plane was completely destroyed, there were no survivors.
