Minister of Education Gani Beysembayev expressed his opinion about Russian schools to be opened in the south of Kazakhstan, "Adyrna" correspondent reported.

According to him, in the southern regions, there are many schools that study in three shifts and there is a lack of schools.

"As you know, this is a big area. We should support the construction of schools in such places. Within the framework of the "Comfortable school" national project, certain funds are allocated, but it is not enough," said the minister.

Ghani Beysembayev noted that there are mixed schools taught in Russian in the country.

"Kazakh standards are strictly observed in any school in our country. There is no concept of "Russian school". We are developing multilingualism. Our children should be competitive. Several languages should be developed. Therefore, if French or other schools are opened, there should be no phobia that it will affect politics," he explained.

The head of the board said that the Russian side will finance the construction of the schools.

"Our teachers work in these schools. And it is not forbidden to attract specialists from Russia. If native speakers are teaching French and English, isn't it good, there is such practice," said the minister.

Let's remind that earlier we wrote about the construction of three Russian-language schools in the south of Kazakhstan.
