Petrocouncil.kz industry publication informs about the search and arrest of top managers in the system of QazaqGaz national company, "Adyrna" wrote.
"On November 21, top managers in the QazaqGaz system were searched and arrested. Thus, the head of the central office and the head of the subsidiary company "Kaztransgaz-Onimderi" LLP were arrested until the circumstances are clarified. Searches were also conducted in other departments of the central apparatus," it was said on Wednesday.
Let's recall that in the summer of 2022, QazaqGaz discovered about 1 trillion violations of the law. The company was previously managed by Kairat Sharipbaev, who was Dariga Nazarbayeva's husband. He left his post after the January incident and came into the public's attention again when he participated in the funeral ceremony of Bolat Nazarbayev, the younger brother of ex-president Nursultan Nazarbayev.
